Bethel Towing is looking hiring for an overnight/graveyard part time dispatcher as well as a full time (split days) swing shift 3-11 and 7-3 dispatcher.
We offer a competitive salary, paid training and night differential pay.
We currently have openings and hiring immediately for:
- Part Time Friday & Saturday Graveyard (overnights) 11pm-7am 16+ hrs.
- Full Time Sunday through Wednesday 3pm-11pm and Sat & Sun 7am-3pm 40hrs
As a tow truck dispatcher, you will be responsible for working with our drivers and help coordinate our fleet of 25+ tow trucks. This can be very FAST-PACED environment with multiple responsibilities during your shift. As a dispatcher, you are the first point of contact for all our private and AAA customers, state and local police and government agencies ensuring they receive the highest level of customer service is top priority.
DUTIES:
- Take and answer multiple calls and enter/type client information into our tow software program in an appropriate and efficient manner.
- Process AAA motor club calls.
- Assist with vehicle impounds and property releases.
- Assist with bi-weekly vehicle auctions and AVR's.
- Take information to appropriately and accurately and handle each situation.
- Satisfy customer needs and expectations both on the phone and in person.
- Enforce strict adherence to standard protocols and applicable WA State rules and regulations.
- Assist in the process of tow bill collection and applying to customer's account and process various payments, take credit card and check payments from clients and customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Min of 1 to 3 years truck or tow dispatching experience but willing to train the right person.
- 8–10-hour shift in one location with flexible scheduling.
- Type min of 40 to 45 wpm.
- Be able to work alone and independently.
- Listen and speak to people by radio and phone, often in some state of distress. Speak plainly and communicate effectively will be necessary.
- Must be efficient with using a computer, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) ·
- Excellent knowledge of roadways throughout the area
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Prioritize the most important situations and think quickly.
- Must be motivated and able to work productively and efficiently in a team-focused environment, including in high pressure situations.
- Drug screen. We are a drug free work environment.
- Must be able to pass a WA State Patrol background check.
